Ferromanganese FeMn МC

Product Description

Ferromanganese FeMn MC is an alloy based on iron and manganese with a mass fraction of 80.0% and with limited upper values of 2.0%, carbon, silicon, phosphorus, and sulfur mass fractions, obtained by silicothermal and carbonothermal reduction of oxide materials.

It is used in the metallurgical industry to deoxidize and alloy steel, alloys, cast iron, as well as in chemical and other industries.

Medium-carbon ferromanganese is a lumpy material with a silvery metallic color. When adding FeMn MC instead of FeMn HC, about 80-85% less carbon is added to steel (for steel with a manganese content of 2%).
